THE PLACE
荒川と入間川が出会う台地の上に、川越の町はあります。二度の大火への応答として、蔵造りの町並みが生まれました。
Kawagoe sits on a terrace where the Arakawa and Iruma rivers meet. The street of clay-walled warehouses was born as a response to two great fires.

We walk, reading the landscape as it stands through two axes: scale and time. Walking Kawagoe with a guide, you will find the land's conditions, and people's responses, written into the landscape.
